The heating ducts’ whirs flew through the vents like muted squalls.  Obediently, the duct system’s twisted veins crawled through the walls, breathing sadistic life into the school room, the innards of the brick-filmed organ independently and systematically circulating flatulent ideas for the stagnant body of Latoria College’s pompous intellectualism.  Each of the students’ curious, uncertain perspectives slaughtered — devoured by the caustic gift of high-intellect.
